Food Repack Program – Individuals and groups from companies, churches, schools and other organizations inspect, sort and box donated food items at our receiving warehouse.  Children must be at least 10 years old and accompanied by at least one adult for every six children.  Teens may volunteer without a chaperon.  Volunteers must be able to stand for extended periods, be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds, MUST wear closed-toe shoes or boots and be able to withstand warm temperatures, as our warehouse has fans but is not air-conditioned.  This opportunity is available Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm.  By special request, Saturday sorts, from 9 am until 12 pm, are available for groups of 30 or more.  Saturday groups are currently  booked through the end of 2009.

Food Bank Pantry – Volunteers age 15 and older clean and stock shelves and organize the pantry where our agencies come to shop for fresh produce, frozen and refrigerated foods, bread and small quantity items.  Volunteers must be able to stand for extended periods, MUST wear closed-toe shoes or boots.  This opportunity is available Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm.
